A trip to your local DIY store for a replacement bracket, and fifteen minutes to replace the old bracket and that’s one job less to do.  Focus on one job at a time and the maintenance will be less daunting.  A broken bracket may seem a trivial thing, but a well maintained property will be more attractive, and if you’re thinking of selling, will sell more easily and attract a higher sale price.
